The City of Hendersonville is accepting statements of experience from general contractors to prequalify for bidding on the Hendersonville WWTF Biosolids Thermal Dryer project. Only Bids submitted by prequalified Contractors/Bidders will be considered. The City is interested in selecting the most highly qualified contractors for prequalification. Information provided in the Prequalification for Bidding Form will be the basis for the evaluation and prequalification of Contractors/Bidders.
The City of Hendersonville is requesting sealed Bids for the construction of the Water Treatment Facility Filter Expansion Project. The project generally consists of concrete repairs and coating system replacement as well as the installation of filter underdrains, media, wash troughs, air scour equipment, and instrumentation within the City’s existing dual-cell Filter No. 3. Additionally, piping, valves, and instrumentation will be installed within the existing filter gallery and filter control room to provide a fully functional dual-media filter to match the City’s existing filters.
Bidding Documents may be examined online at McGraw Hill Construction / Dodge (dodge.construction.com) and obtained from the office of the Engineer by emailing hvlfilter@hazenandsawyer.com. Electronic documents will be provided at no charge. Bidding Documents shall be comprised of the original Issued for Construction documents (dated May 2024) and any future addenda issued prior to the bid opening.
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on June 10th, 2024 at 10:00 am local time at the Water Treatment Facility, located at 4139 Haywood Rd, Mills River, NC 28759. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory.
