LGCCA
Henderson County, the City of Hendersonville, the Town of Laurel Park, the Town of Fletcher, and the Village of Flat Rock (entities) recognize the importance of fostering communication and joint planning between all entities. The Local Government Committee for Cooperative Action (LGCCA) was established by the entities to improve communication and planning between the County and its municipalities. The LGCCA believes it can enhance communication and planning by discussing and studying certain types of land use planning and the effect of the proposed land use change on the entire community, not just on the entity suggesting the change.

Meetings
The Local Government Committee for Cooperative Action "LGCCA" meeting is held Quarterly on the third Tuesday of the month at 3:00 p.m. of January, April, July, and October at the Historic Courthouse located at 1 Historic Courthouse Sq. Hendersonville NC 28792. Each municipality in the County alternates hosting this meeting. The City of Hendersonville Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore are the City's designated representatives who attend this meeting.
