Legal
The Hendersonville Legal Department represents the City of Hendersonville, its departments and staff, and certain of its boards and commissions in legal matters of all kinds.
To give the most efficient service, the legal department refers you to the following:
General questions concerning laws and ordinances pertaining to the City of Hendersonville:
Unfortunately for ethical reasons we cannot answer questions concerning laws, ordinances, regulations and the like for the general public. If you have a question concerning these you should seek the advice of a licensed attorney.
Personal injury or property damage:
If you believe you or your property have been injured and the City is at fault, contact Hendersonville's insurance coordinator by email or by calling Tammy Ledford at the Public Works Department at (828) 697-3084.
Criminal matters investigated by the Hendersonville Police Department:
The legal department is not normally involved in criminal matters. Criminal matters investigated by the Hendersonville Police Department are prosecuted, if at all, by the District Attorney.
