City Council Special Call Meeting - Tuesday, October 29, 2024
The City of Hendersonville City Council will hold a Special Call Meeting (Revised) on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of City Hall located at 160 6th Avenue East, Hendersonville, NC.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider the following items:
- Second Public Hearing to Consider the Submission of a Community Development Block Grant Application, Neighborhood Revitalization, for the FY24-25 Funding Cycle.•
- Consideration of Fee Schedule Amendments to Temporarily Eliminate Permit Fees Associated with Hurricane Helene Recovery.
- Ratification of Contracts Executed by the City Manager during the State of Emergency.
- Consideration of an Amendment to the City Council Regular Meeting Schedule.
- Consideration of Amendments to City Policies as Necessary to Support Hurricane Helene Recovery.
- City Manager Hurricane Updates.
- Closed session pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-318.1 l(a)(S) to establish, or to instruct the public body's staff or negotiating agents concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf of the public body in negotiating the price and other material terms of a contract or proposed contract for the acquisition of real property by purchase, option, exchange, or lease.
