City of Hendersonville Expands Online Software to Streamline Permitting and Code Enforcement Processes

The City of Hendersonville Community Development Department has launched a new online software to streamline land use and planning applications and permits. The online dashboard also allows the community to submit zoning and code violation complaints. This improvement in digital services aims to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and provide greater accessibility for those seeking permits from the planning division.

“Gone are the days of complicated paper permits,” said Community Development Director Lew Holloway. “Having a digital option available for the community helps us manage projects more efficiently and streamline our internal processes. People now have the option to complete digital applications outside regular business hours and from the comfort of their own home.”
The new system, Cloudpermit, is a cloud-based e-permitting platform that simplifies application processes and allows residents, businesses, developers and contractors to pay online. The City of Hendersonville is already using Cloudpermit for accepting code enforcement complaints and now has added land use and planning applications to the digital offerings.
