The Hendersonville Police Station was constructed on Ashe Street between Pace and Jonas streets in the Seventh Avenue district. The two-story, 26,000 square foot building will be paid for with a USDA Rural Development loan. This is the first time the Hendersonville Police Department has had a station built specifically for their needs.
The building includes an 80-person community room that can be used for training as well as community events. Other building features include roll call room, garage, interview rooms, evidence storage, offices, K9 kennels, wash bay, gym, and locker rooms.
