Main Street will light up the night with Santa’s Arrival on November 29
HENDERSONVILLE, NC – Main Street will light up the night with holiday cheer and the arrival of Santa Claus on Friday, November 29 for the annual Tree Lighting at the Historic Courthouse Plaza. And how will Santa arrive? He will be coming straight from the North Pole in his sleigh. Follow the spotlight and watch the night sky to see if you can spot him coming.
The air will be filled with excitement and the joy of the holidays at the Historic Courthouse Plaza. Then the celebration will begin with Santa leading us in the countdown to illuminate the night! Enjoy free horse and carriage rides and don’t miss your chance to meet Santa after the Tree Lighting.
The festivities will begin at 5 pm with the uplifting sounds of the holidays with the Peggy Ratusz & Friends Band. Santa will arrive around 5:45 pm with the Christmas Tree and lights coming on at 6 pm.
After the Tree Lighting, enjoy visits with Santa inside the Courthouse and free carriage rides provided by Carolina Horse and Carriage until 8 pm.
Hot cocoa, hot cider, and sweet delights will be available for purchase on the event site from Black Bear Coffee and Raspberry Fields.
