Hendersonville, NC – October 8, 2024 – In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the City of Hendersonville is committed to ensuring that community events continue to serve as a source of support and solidarity.

Rhythm & Brews | October 17, 2024

The final Rhythm & Brews of the year event WILL take place on Thursday, October 17. We are actively working out the final details to ensure a successful event that not only celebrates music and community. Rhythm & Brews is produced by the Friends of Downtown Hendersonville, proceeds from the event will be directed to downtown business support.

Bear Auction | Extended Until November 16, 2024

The Bearfootin’ Auction went live on September 26and already has over $38,000 in bids benefitting 20 area nonprofit organizations.  We are extending the bidding period to November 16. This extension will give more people an opportunity to participate while supporting local organizations. Don’t miss your chance to bid on these beloved pieces of local art! LoveHendo Popup Market | Starts October 12, 2024 Historic Depot, 650 Maple Street.

Beginning this Saturday, October 12, the Hendersonville Farmers Market will host a scaled-down Pop-Up Market featuring local favorite, Underground Baking. This will provide a taste of our traditional market to bring back some normalcy while many of our vendors continue to assess their own recovery.

Treat Street Carnival | Under Development

Our team, in partnership with Henderson County Parks and Recreation is currently working on logistics for this year’s Treat Street, one of our most popular annual events. We will share more information in the coming days, so stay tuned for updates.

These events reflect the resilience and spirit of our community. We look forward to coming together in celebration while continuing to support the ongoing recovery efforts in Hendersonville.
